August Walks...

I've started this month off on the right step...

That is, with a left, and a right, and a few more of those to get myself moving up and out of the house. 2.57 miles around my neighborhood after dinner tonight. I'm a little slower that I'd like to be, but am feeling good about what I did.

I also spent some time this afternoon doing basic calisthenics in my kitchen. Basic leg lifts in various directions to give my leg and sciatic nerve a good stretch (I've had what I'll describe as a pulled butt muscle for about a week) I know it's my sciatica acting up.

It right, move right, stretch, enjoy... those are all basic things...


So for the rest of the month, I'll keep track of my mileage, daily... and plan my walk at Table Mountain / CTP... and make some strides (literally) around town with the kids.
