Walking on Sunshine...

Now that we are starting school and are into the September groove, I can adapt my workouts to incorporate the drop off and pick up times with the kids.

Last Friday when my daughter started pre-school I took the boys (who start this week) with me down to the Redondo Pier... and they scootered as i walked. No, it wasn't a power walk or a super long distance, but it was hot, sunny and fun. We did about 1.6 miles.

That evening I did a 35 minute power walk.

This week will be interesting as I've not much "alone" time. John is out of town, and my parents are about to take their 3 week vacation, so any extra time available feels like "stolen" time and I've got so much to accomplish... I don't want to put the training aside, so perhaps I'll be sticking to cardio and step and yoga at the house. I do want to add some miles to my monthly goal... so perhaps later this month I'll get a 1/2 marathon or a long walk in... we'll just have to see...
I wouldn't mind a hike.

Thanks for all the support from my friends and family...
