In my efforts to be happier and healthier, I am learning about what I've done to my body, what I put in it, and what I should be doing to make it the best vehicle I have. I am in charge, after all.... so in my research I've been learning about toxic food, the Worst Foods, and the Healthiest foods.
I've been limiting the calories, and learning about the good calories vs. the bad....
Halloween candy aside, I've been doing alright... I can do so much better...
I've lost 1/2 a lb.... not a huge drop, but at least it's a drop. Through the winter I'll be trying out foods that are meant to help the texture of my skin, and improve digestion.... and as I find successful and tasty options, I'll share those too...
I am walking about 15 miles a week... and am usually pretty close to the marathon a month goal. I did NOT walk this weekend as the smoke and ash in our area was just too uncomfortable and unhealthy... and we're 25 miles away from the fires...
The smoke is clearing and I'll be adding miles to my feet this week....
